Ten days combining two of Jilin’s leading ski resorts with the landscapes, food and winter culture of Northeast China.
Spend ten winter days exploring two of Jilin Province’s best-known ski destinations before slowing the pace in Jilin City. Begin at Beidahu, where extensive terrain, substantial vertical and well-developed resort facilities make it easy to settle into several full days on snow. Continue to Songhua Lake for a different mountain rhythm, with wide pistes and convenient access to Jilin City. The final part of the journey moves beyond the slopes. Explore local neighbourhoods and traditional northeastern flavours, then rise early for one of Jilin’s most distinctive winter sights — rime-covered trees along the Songhua River.

Arrive in Jilin
Arrive at Changchun Longjia International Airport, where your private transfer will meet you for the journey to Beidahu Ski Resort.
After checking in, settle into the mountain surroundings and prepare for the days ahead. Ski equipment can be arranged at the resort, leaving the evening free for an easy dinner and an early night after your journey.
Ski Beidahu
Spend three full days discovering Beidahu, one of Northeast China’s most established ski destinations.
With more than 70 runs spread across a large mountain area, Beidahu offers plenty of room for different abilities to ski at their own pace. Beginners and progressing skiers can make use of extensive lower-level terrain, while stronger skiers can explore longer descents and more challenging sectors higher on the mountain.
Away from the pistes, slow the pace with northeastern Chinese food, relaxed resort evenings or a hot-spring and wellness session where available.
Ski Songhua Lake
Transfer from Beidahu to Songhua Lake Resort and settle into a second mountain base for another three days of skiing.
Closer to Jilin City, Songhua Lake offers a different resort experience, with broad groomed pistes, a strong concentration of beginner and intermediate terrain, and more demanding runs for confident skiers.
Spend your days skiing at your own pace, then return to the resort village for an easy evening of dining, drinks and time off the mountain.
Discover Jilin City
Leave the mountains behind and transfer into Jilin City for a slower day exploring the cultural side of the region.
Visit Beishan Park, where historic temples, pavilions and traditional landscapes sit within one of the city’s best-known green spaces. Continue through the city at an easy pace before settling in for a regional dinner — a chance to experience the richer, warming flavours that define winter dining in Northeast China.

Rime on the Songhua River
Rise early for one of Jilin’s most remarkable winter landscapes — the rime-covered trees of the Songhua River.
Under the right combination of cold temperatures, moisture and still air, mist rising from the river freezes onto surrounding branches, covering the landscape in delicate white crystals.
Travel towards the Rime Island area in the early morning, when conditions are typically at their best, before returning to Jilin City later in the day. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the city or simply slowing down after several days in the mountains.
Rime is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed on any particular day.

Enjoy a relaxed final morning before your private transfer to Changchun Longjia International Airport for your onward flight.
