Wanlong Ski Resort is widely considered the best pure skiing mountain in theChongli region. It’s less focused on being a flashy resort and more about terrain, snow quality, and lots of skiing and riding. The resort has six high speed gondolas and chairlifts giving you access to 22km of trails with a top elevation of 2110m and a base at 1560m. The 550mvertical is the biggest in the region. The trail mix is mostly intermediate with wide open groomers giving skiers and riders plenty of space and distance to carve it up all day. Cold winter temperatures between minus 10 and 20 Celsius and a north facing aspect means the snow retains great quality. There’s a good mix of skin/ski out accommodation or for a greater range you can also stay in Chongli town just 10km from the resort.
