Genertal Mountain is the nearest ski resort to Altay City and is often considered the gateway resort for the region. It’s not the biggest or most extreme in China - but it’s very unique, and increasingly popular. It has high quality facilities, reliable snowfall and is easily accessible, making it ideal for learning, cruising the groomed trails and experiencing Altay’s unique powderculture. Jiangjunshan is a great option to combine with either Jikepulin or Koktokay to give you some variation to your Xinjiang ski holiday.
