Beyond the Treeline, Into the Silence

Ten days in China's most remote high-altitude terrain — where the wind speaks and the skier listens.

Ten days in China's most remote high-altitude terrain — the Altai range of northern Xinjiang, where the treeline ends and the real mountain begins. This expedition is not designed for comfort. It is designed for expert skiers who want untracked snow, extreme cold, and a landscape so vast it recalibrates your sense of scale. The guide carries avalanche gear. You should too.
